◇ Ashibeya Imose Besso
"Wakanoura" is a scenic spot that has been written in the Manyoshu and has been certified as a Japanese heritage site. The inn "Ashibeya" that once existed in this area is also the place where Minakata Kumagusu and Sun Yat-sen reopened. The " Ashibeya Imose Besso", which still exists on the remote island "Imoseyama" on a beautiful tidal flat, was called the Kihinkan in the latter half of the Meiji era as a villa for the Ashbeya, and was visited by the imperial family at that time as a resting place.
